This chicken and chorizo paella combines two of Spains best flavours that Australians will love.  Use a spicy chorizo sausage to add some intensity to this meal, or keep it mild and enjoy the traditionally prepared caldo.The paella takes very little preparation.  After the first one hooks you on the taste, you will be mastering your technique to rival the Doñas back in Spain.

Paella is the dish that Spaniards remember from their childhood. Most famous in Valenica, each region of Spain has it’s own variation and each family does it their way.  Australians enjoy amazing quality seafood that perfectly compliments Paella A La Maestre.  This is a simple to cook package containing the traditionaly prepared caldo (broth) and bomba rice required to make a tasty Spanish paella. All that is required is to select some tasty seafood to add to the pan. A nice marina mix works beautifully.

Sangria is a constant in any truely Spanish experience. Our non alcoholic sangria has a way of transporting people back to the shores of Barcelona, Malaga and Mallorca.  Made using the same grapes as red wines from the northern regions of Spain, our sangria is bottled before fermentation and carbonated to be refreshingly sparkling. This product has only natural sugars, flavours and colours. It is best prepared in the tradional way in a jug with chopped fruits. It is perfect for children or non-drinkers. Otherwise, it mixes well with rum, vodka and gin.

Product Info

Manchego is a cheese made in the La Mancha region of Spain from the milk of sheep of the manchega breed. Manchego has a compact consistency and a beautiful buttery texture, with small, unevenly distributed air pockets. The colour of the cheese varies from white to ivory-yellow, and the inedible rind from yellow to brownish beige. The cheese has a unique flavour, well developed but not too strong and creamy, touch of nuttiness and leaves an after taste that is characteristic of sheep’s milk. This cheese goes beautifully on an antipasto platter with figs, dates, quince paste or honey.

This is a creamy, flavoursome cheese, having reduced fat and salt content but preserving a delicious taste and the softest texture of the Maestre range. It is lactose free treated by natural processes. There is large demand for good quality and flavour in the lactose free products and our light cheese satisfies both.  A very versatile cheese, great for cheese plates, vegetable gratinees, lasagna, pizza, toasties and perfect in healthy, crunchy salads, healthy omelettes and frittatas.

Murcian wine cheese is a creamy goats’ milk cheese from the province of Murcia in the south-east of Spain. It has a Protected Designation of Origin (DOP). The term al vino refers to the washing of the rind with red wine during maturation. The cheese has an agreeable creamy flavour, a slight saltiness and a mild aroma. Murcian wine cheese is coloured white to light cream and has a compact and elastic texture. This cheese is perfect to be enjoyed with a glass of red wine, or for use in cooking as it adds a lot of great flavour.

Semi-cured cheese is a mix of pasterised cows, sheep and goats milk. As we say in Spain it’s the best of the farm – altogether in one.  Its cured for a period of 2 months. The rind is uneatable. Its white/ivory in colour, has a very soft aroma, a creamy feeling in the pallet with a fresh milk after taste. Its texture is not too hard or not too soft its just perfect.  This is a versatile cheese that is not out of place on a cheese platter, but is also great for cooking.
